In the 1980's, Alcast Company's low pressure bottom fill ELECTRO-MAGNETIC permanent / semi permanent mold aluminum casting process was specifically designed to produce the highest quality torque converter castings! Our aluminum foundry currently produces torque converter, turbine, impeller, and stator castings ranging from 3 pounds to over 120 pounds and from 7 inches diameter to over 32 inches diameter. These drivetrain products are often used in the agricultural, automotive, construction, heavy equipment, heavy truck, and mining markets. We can provide raw aluminum castings to customers who prefer to machine their own castings or fully machined and balanced castings.

Our shell core process consistently produces smoother surface finishes than our competition, and can produce very exotic blade configurations. We produce torque converter cores using segments, helically drawn and single piece configurations.
