Michael Ham II | Director Quality
Mike graduated from El Paso High School and attended Illinois Central College before embarking on a distinguished career in Quality Management spanning over three decades. His journey began with Quality 30 years ago, where he honed his skills in blueprint training and inspecting parts. For over 12 years, Mike specialized as a CMM programmer, delving into advanced GD&T and measurement analysis crucial for ensuring product functionality and alignment with customer specifications, particularly during his tenure at Alcast.
With 22 years spent at Parsons company from 1994 to 2018, Mike gained invaluable experience in basic management and leadership, which prepared him for his role as Quality Manager at Alcast starting in 2018. Here, he oversees the quality system of the machine shop, exemplifying his expertise in International Automotive Taskforce (IATF) core tools processes such as FMEA, MSA, PPAP, APQP, and SPC, alongside Level 2 CMM programming.
Mike holds a certificate in advanced GD&T concepts and is currently the Director of Quality at Alcast since 2022. In this capacity, he not only manages the Quality System but also focuses on customer satisfaction, proactive and corrective actions, and adept problem-solving. Known for leading by example, Mike is well respected by his team and counterparts both for his work ethic and his ability to wear multiple hats to enhance company operations.
His extensive direct interaction with customers has sharpened his customer service and interpersonal skills, contributing significantly to his success in fostering strong client relationships and driving organizational growth.
