Our permanent mold aluminum foundry manufactures these large complex aluminum castings for the refrigeration market. These large aluminum castings weight about 70lbs each and are around 20″ in diameter and 10″ tall. After we manufacture the raw castings in our aluminum foundry, and heat treat them in our heat treat department, we machine them in our CNC Machine shop. These complex aluminum castings have several holes drilled them, the sealing surfaces are machined, and there are concave and convex surfaced machined on the inside of the aluminum castings.
